Junior college was the vision of the founder of Gyan Kendra Secondary School Late. President Prof. Ramnath Pandey and succeeded by our current President Shri Subhash Pandey. Junior College came into existence in 2008 under the name “Prof. Ramnath Pandey Junior college of Arts, Science and Commerce”.

Currently the college is running Science and Commerce streams with well organized labs and facilities. The faculties and the management are focused for the all round development of the children. The college has two divisions of Science and Commerce with an intake of 80 students in each division. We are pleased to inform you that the construction work for the proposed degree college has been completed. Hopefully we will be running the Degree College in 2019-20 if the University of Mumbai gives us the requisite permission.

ATTENDANCE: It is compulsory for the student to maintain his / her attendance 75% as per the M.H. Board Norms and Principles.

SUBJECTS OFFERED:

For the Science Stream, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, P.E. and E.V.S. are Compulsory Subjects. A student can choose between Hindi / I.T and Maths / Economics.

For the Commerce Stream, Book Keeping, O.C., Economics, English, E.V.S and P.E. are compulsory subjects. Students can choose Hindi / I.T. and Maths / S.P. as per their merit and option. The admission to I.T. Subject is given purely on the basis of student’s merit.

CO-CURRICULAR: Our students participate in various college festivals and have excelled in the same.

SPORTS ACTIVITIES: The College promotes participation in sports not only in intercollegiate and interclass sports activities but also at the D.S.O level.

LABORATORY:The college has laboratories – Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab and Computer Lab for the practicals, which are well equipped and spacious so that the students can learn effectively and perform their practicals smoothly.

PLAY GROUND: Proper training at sports activities is very important. To fulfill sports activities, we have a huge playground to play cricket, football and other outdoor games.
