Hence, we all have to ensure that there is no stone left unturned to equip the students of today for the challenges of life. Excellence in education is to prepare young minds for imbibing knowledge, skills and values; this is the mission of Gyan Kendra institution. We run a co-ed secondary school. Secondary Section has 24 classes from Std V to Std X with 4 divisions each. We have about 1079 students in the secondary section, who are being educated by us.

From the past few years, our S.S.C. examinaiton results have always been 100%.

To accelerate and motivate the teaching learning process, we have a well equipped computer lab, an Audio Visual Room, a Science Lab and a Library with innumerable books in different languages.

Inter house, Inter School Co-Curricular and extra Co-Curricular competitions have always been the highlights of the school like Chess, Football, Kabaddi, Cricket, Science Skit, Elocution Essay Writing, Science and maths Quiz, History Geography Quiz etc.

We enrol our children for the scholarship exams and We also send them for competitions to Nehru Science Centre for science Quiz, Aviation quiz and other activities, etc. We also train children for elementary and intermediate drawing examinations.

The novelty is the Mock Parliament, The Inter School Debate, Hindi Mono Acting and Inter School Essay Writing Competition held every year that invites all the schools of the K.P. West Ward to participate.

We conduct extra classes for academically weak children from Std V to X. Special care and coaching is given to the students appearing for scholarship Examination – STD V and STD VIII.

Our school conducts Karate Classes, Cricket, Academy, Dance class, Abacus Classes etc. We also take our children for educational field trips.

We have very well qualified teachers, who are highly experienced and well trained.The motto is to provide full fledge knowledge to students.

Inculcating good values and habbits has always been our criteria. We hope to grow in leaps and bounce in the near future.
